St Crispin is on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and offers a different type of adventure for all. For the experienced diver and snorkeller there is the outside wall. Here you will encounter a constant current providing an awesome drift dive along an amazing drop off which hosts large schools of Damselfish, Stingrays, schools of Fusiliers, the occasional Queensland Grouper and Tuna.
On the inside there is the perfect little bay which has some amazing Coral Gardens that can be admired whether you are snorkelling, diving or in the Glass Bottom Boat. These Coral Gardens surround a sandy bottom bay which is where the boat is moored providing protection from the elements and a great place to try snorkelling or diving for the first time. Expect to have some memorable encounters in this little bay affectionately known as "Gone Again" which is home to all sorts of creatures, such as the Moray Eels, many species of Anemone Fish, all types of Damselfish, Painted Lobsters, and an abundance of coral in all shapes, colors and sizes.
St. Crispin Reef is classified by the Marine Park Authority for "Intensive" use meaning unlimited passengers but has only 4 allocated moorings of which HABA owns one.
