With a special drop off by HABA’s glass bottom boat, advanced divers are sure to get a kick out of diving The Wedge. With a maximum depth that increases the closer you get to the edge of the continental shelf, the greatest challenge is to resist the urge of hugging the bottom to see what’s down there. Often visibility is good enough for you to hang out around 20 metres and still get a good view of the life below.

Two coral walls, separated by a wide sandy bottom, are what gave The Wedge its name. On days when the visibility exceeds 30 metres and the current is weak, divers enjoy the ability to zigzag between the two walls in search of sharks and larger stingrays.

When the current is stronger, The Wedge turns into the ideal site for drift diving. Hugging one of the walls, divers cruise effortlessly until the 50 bar limit forces you to surface. Beginner divers are well catered for at this site as well. The boat-to-boat option keeps you within your 18-metre limit and offers the same amount of beauty!
