| Wednesday, 17-10-07 17:11 To Misha and the crew of Haba, We recently visited Port Douglas and wanted to do a reef tour but with a 11 month old son werent sure if we should take him out. We shouldnt have worried as after one 1/2 day trip so impressed my wife and I were that 3 days later we went out again, so good are the crew. Somehow they seem to make everyone feel as though you are the only ones on the boat, its the little personal touches that Haba do that puts you at ease, something the larger boats wouldnt be able to do. | Wednesday, 17-10-07 17:11 Dear Haba Team My sister, two daughters and I went out with your team the Wednesday before Christmas last year. I'm sure you don't remember us, but we sure remember you! (We're the four from South Africa.) It was a wonderful experience to snorkel and to see God's happiness and sense of humour in creating omething so colourful and decorative. Thank you for giving us that opportunity! I also want to really congratulate and compliment all of you for the professionalism and enthusiasm with which you conduct yourselves. I am a marketing strategist and I am passionate about the principle of customer service. I become very frustrated when companies cannot see how important it is to go the extra mile for their customers and much to my daughters' embarrassment I start offering on-the-spot "training" when I am not happy. Haba could so easily treat their customers as once offs - the "So what, we'll never see them again." In fact we chose Haba based on a recommendation from a lady I met at our hotel. As far as I am concerned Haba really knows about customer service. You dealt with each customer in a personal and caring way. You treated us with respect and trust. You spoke enthusiastically about the reef and its inhabitants. You made it your mission to ensure that we loved it as much as you do. We were fed generously! I am so pleased we chose Haba. Thanks for creating one of the highlights of our trip to Australia and keep up the good work. All the best Cecilia |

| Wednesday, 17-10-07 17:11 Having read the comments of the one or two unhappy people I was prompted me to write. "I haven't been back to Port Douglas since last May but that was my 10th trip and every time I have dived with HABA some 200 times(plus with a few others so I can compare them). My experience with them has always been excellent otherwise I wouldn't keep coming back (it's not just round the corner!). In all those dives I have seen the range of people from complete beginners with no expectations, beginners who think the marine life must be exactly as they imagined from the books to experts who think they know it all and want their every whim to come to reality preferably with out having to work and with no current. The crew can't control the fish life, the visability and the weather but they can make sure that you enjoy the day to the maximum. If you want the perfect experience on demand then you probably haven't realised that the natural world doesn't work that way. I've had dives that ranged from no visability and 6 minutes in length to perfect clear water and 80+ minutes and they're all memorable in the positive sense. Diving is what you make it be and if you're looking for fun then HABA is the best in Port Douglas. If you're looking for a bad day then it doesn't matter which operator you chose you will have a lousy day. I for one will go back to HABA again and again because they are the best, friendliest and most professional that I have found. Just my opinion from 200 dives with them. Kevan |
